We all know that dandruff can be a little bit less than fabulous. Today, we're going to give you some tips on how to bring your "fabulosity" back while you're waiting and taking the necessary steps to get rid of this pesky problem.

SPEAKER 1
When I do have dandruff, in terms of being able to either cover it up or wear something so that it doesn't show as much, what can I do?

KRIS COLE
One of the things that you can do with your wardrobe is you can incorporate lighter colors at the top. I would suggest wearing colors like whites, silver, metallics. Even patterns and textures will help to hide and camouflage this problem.

SPEAKER 2
Are there different hairstyles that would help hide the dandruff?

KRIS COLE
There are several hairstyles that you could use in order to camouflage dandruff. One of the things that you can do is identify the area in your scalp that has more dandruff and part your hair in a way that that area is going to be covered. Another thing that you can do is where your hair in a style that's messier. Anytime you have a really deep part or something that's very sleek in your hair, it's going to make the appearance of dandruff more noticeable.

SPEAKER 1
Is there anything that I can carry with me that can be used as some type of tool or accessory to help?

KRIS COLE
I would also suggest carrying a lint brush. You can keep it in your purse or your briefcase for little touch-ups throughout the day.

SPEAKER 3
If you lighten your hair, does that help to hide dandruff?
KRIS COLE
You could always see if blondes really do have more fun. Lighten your hair. When you do this, you have to make sure that you use a color expert. You don't want to do anything to aggravate your scalp, to make the problem more prominent.

SPEAKER 1
Is there any other type of-- anything I can put in my hair or anything I can style my hair with that will help to conceal or hide dandruff?

KRIS COLE
There are so many things on the market right now to help you look fabulous during this time, from head wraps and scarves to headbands, turbans, skullies. I have a couple here today to show you. One is a very fun kind of headband. It looks like a scarf, but it's actually a headband. You can put it on, pull your hair back on the go-- fun, easy, and quick.

Another thing that you can do is use an actual scarf. You can take the scarf and cover the whole head. Or you can make it narrow and turn it into a small headband. Something that's good for guys and for girls, I would suggest wearing a baseball cap, a skully, anything to cover the hair, but to also be stylish. You want to make sure that it matches your outfit and that it looks good, as well, not like you're hiding or you're in disguise.

Now that we've given you some great suggestions on how to hide your dandruff while being fabulous and having style, don't forget-- wear your lighter colors on top. Use your metallics, your patterns. Have fun. Use your hair accessories to hide those problem areas. And also, style your hair in a way that those areas are covered. Don't forget to stay fabulous. Have fun.

Do it with style. And do it with class. And do it with the same grace that you were doing it with before.
