Tracy Hogg, RNMH, MS, has devoted her career to developing a unique approach to baby and child care. A British-trained nurse, lactation educator, and newborn consultant, she has cared for infants and their families for the past 24 years. Sharpened by her work with disabled children, who often lack verbal communications skills, Hogg has cultivated an uncanny ability to understand what babies need by listening to their cries and tuning in to their body language. Her special talent for understanding and calming babies led to her nickname the "Baby Whisperer."

Hogg obtained her nursing degree in England, specializing in maternity and neonatal care. She earned an MS from the University of California at Irvine. In 1997, she founded Baby Technique, an organization that consults with parents individually, offers group classes, and provides nanny training and referrals. Today, she is the consummate teacher, able to share her gift with parents and other professionals. She lives in Los Angeles and is the mother of two daughters.
