Venkat Mohan, MD

Venkat Mohan, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist in private practice in Bellevue, Wash. He is also clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Mohan received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India.  He completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts - Memorial in Worcester, Mass.  He performed his gastroenterology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Mohan has published several articles and is involved in numerous research projects including studies on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional dyspepsia, gastric ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Crohn’s disease.  He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy among others.

Mohan is a reviewer for Physicians’ Review Network Inc.,  an independent medical review organization.
