What is the standard dose for astaxanthin?

ANSWER

Supplement makers may suggest different amounts of astaxanthin for different purposes. Most of the small research studies have used between 2 mg and 24 mg daily. But a standard dose of astaxanthin hasn't been set for any condition. Quality and active ingredients in supplements can be very different, and that makes it hard to set a standard dose.
