My acupuncturist recommended this medicine. I started taking the medicine on the second day of a cold. The brand is "Chinese Classics." I took three full droppers four times a day for five days. The medicine seemed to lessen the cold symptoms and shorten the length of the cold.

I took this as part of an herbal treatment for the flu. It came with 5 other ingredients. Although I did feel better the particular side effect of this particular herb is to induce sweating which can be quite bothersome. It is supposed to "expel" excess heat.
