I suffer from reoccurring rashes in skin folds. This is the one remedy I have found that works very well at soothing the pain and itch, clearing up the rash, and preventing its return. I've tried diaper rash and jock itch creams, anti-fungals, sprays, powders, and even mouthwash. Thus product is amazing for treating this condition.

Years ago, after watching a rerun of "The Andy Griffith Show" and realizing that Floyd the barber uses witch hazel, I thought to myself that all barbers use witch hazel and that must be for a very good reason. Instead of using expensive aftershave lotions or sea breeze, I starting using witch hazel on my face after a shave. Fantastic! 30 years later and I am still using witch hazel as an aftershave.

Mosquitos love me & I can't help but to enjoy the outdoors. Luckily witch hazel is fast acting & greatly reduces the itchiness of the bites. They still swell but I don't itch the bites after a minuet of applying some witch hazel. You can just west a cotton ball with it & then dab or rub the skin on & around the bite. I've used it on minor cuts & scrapes to reduce irritation & pain which works well too

I have seboric dermatitis so my facial skin grows faster than usual. This causes dryness, inflammation, and itchiness. Soaps and face washes cause the dryness to be significantly worse while WH allows me to wash my face while keeping the moisture and inflammation minimal. It is not a cure but it is the best and it way I can wash my face. Plus itâ??s super easy and faster than a typical face wash. Smells horrible but I promise overtime the smell becomes unnoticeable.

It will burn like crazy, but the pain will be reduced by 80% or more within about 30 second. Like the old Johhny Cash song."A ring of Fire" well witch hazel will cool that ring of fore down real quick like.I use witch hazel for direct treatment of roids and Butchers broom and rutin supplement to keep them away.I maybe get them for a week or 2 of the year where i used to get roid flare ups every week. Had to quit drinking coffee as well though which sucked.

My son went to visit Montana for a week and came back with huge mosquito bites. He was very itchy and uncomfortable. Two treatments, 5 hours apart, of swabbing with cotton balls soaked in witch hazel relieved his itch.

Prep H didn't really work, though I used it for months. Finally, at recommendation of my primary care provider, I tried witch hazel (not a spray as suggested but moisturised pads) and Had complete comfort from Day 1. Now into second month and pain/itching is a thing of the past.

I had major surgery and had explained my extreme reactions to adhesives. Although the hospital staff was good, my caregiver realized I was having a very bad reaction to the little adhesives used through the surgery. Thank goodness my caregiver knew the benefits of Witch Hazel firsthand and was able to control and help the problem. The caregiver put WH on me twice a day for three days. I thank goodness for the relief Witch Hazel gave me!

An old school home remedy for many things. I've used it for: Stops insect bite itching. Gargle for sore throat. Relieve canker sore pain, and gum pain after potato chip got jammed in. Clean cuts. Cuts heal faster like when using Neosporin on a scar. Comb my hair, makes hair lie down much better than water. Use as aftershave. I don't ever drink it. I know I've used it for other things over the years, but can't recall everything. I'm kind of surprised this site only lists it for use on hemorrhoids. Probably the one think I haven't tried witch hazel for. Read More Read Less

I used witch hazel to clean my dogs oily ears and applies it to her hot spots. Day 1 so far so good. They remained pink and fresh smelling and the red open rashed hot spots also reacted well to the treatment.
