I was on antibiotics for 3 days and started having frequest diarrhea. Started taking this 4 at a time along with 4 excelent probiotics. Took both of these 4 times a day. The digestion came under control and copletely cleared in 36 hours. I could not have taken the 10 days of anibiotics if I had not taken these 2 health aids. I have had exposure to C-Diff so I paniced at the first sign of antibiot...

My entire face broke out in red, puss filled pimples within 48 hours. This was totally unexpected and I had no idea where this was coming from, especially since I'm not a youngster anymore. My GP thought it was SIBO (small intenstine bacterial overgrowth) and put me on a restrictive diet. It did not help. A consulting dermatologist prescribed antibiotivd (arythromycin), topical antibiotics, Finacia and Metrogel telling me I had postular rosacia. This I used for 5 weeks without improvement. I had to leave for Germany and over there a pharmacist recommended PERENTEROL which contains "saccharomyces boulardi" (250mg caps) which I was to take 3 x daily before meals. My skin started to clear within a week. (The package lists its for diarreah & acne). I continued only the Finacea and finally after 4 weeks I am almost back to my normal skin...which has always been very good! I think this is an excellent treatment - especially for "skin disorders" which can be gut related - and I highly recommend it.Read More Read Less

I developed abdominal distension from this product, even with just intermittent use (every few days, 1 capsule. I do have a compromised immune system so here's hoping I don't develop other problems from it. I have discontinued use and am waiting for my symptoms to disappear. I wonder how long this stays in your system - does it multiply?

Few times in your life will you praise your preferred deity more fervently than after your first normal bowel movement following seemingly endless recurring C. Dif. infections. Thank Ganesh for this product and the GI specialist that recommended it!

I've struggled with irritable bowels for years now including bloating, gas, difficulty during bowel movements. I went to the pharmacy here in Bulgaria, as I'm living here right now, and asked for something for diarrhea. The pharmacist suggested Enterol, which is what this fungus is packaged as here. I took it and very soon after it cleared up my diarrhea and any IB symptoms. My BM's have been regular now for 2 weeks, something I haven't experienced in years! I've been taking one 250mg capsule daily but am trying now to cut back a bit to see if I can space the doses out a bit. Very pleased with the results and I hope more sufferers can benefit from it. Have had ulcerative colitis for 2 years. Remicade alone didn't work. I supplemented the infusions with this probiotic and I have been in remission for one year now.

I use Sacc B for my autistic son who at a very young age had candida and bacterial issues in his gut. Sacc B is a great treatment for yeast. With my son, I see actual physical symptoms if his yeast is elevated ie won't sleep, giggly, spacey. Yeast can cause many symptoms that is associated with autism and it has greatly helped my son.

I had five months of Clostridium difficile as a result of taking Clindamycin for a chronic sinus infection. I took Vancomycin twice, with no results. Then, I took Difficid (at %2,500 for 20 tablets). At this point, I began to do my own research on this pathogen. I found that Lactobacillus GG, Saccharomyces Boulardii; Lactobacillus Rhamnoses, and a heavy duty IFlora might address this problem. The minute that I completed the Difficid, I began the probiotics, and I have not been troubled by C diff since. Why none of my doctors even suggested probiotics amazes me. Probiotics really cleared me of the C diff.Read More Read Less

After having my gallbladder removed in 2001, I started suffering from IBD. I started taking this supplement in 2008 and it has made such a difference with controlling my IBD symptoms. Highly recommend this supplement.

For over 40 years dealing with moderate IRRITABLE bowel SYNDROME (not IBD) the only prolonged relief occurred when I started using Florastor regularly. I wasn't expecting system improvement when I started (and nothing close to symptom relief), just preventing an extra bad flair during a long course of antibiotics. I know that this is highly variable for each person, but with the very low risk of side effects, I strongly recommend sufferers of irritable bowel syndrome to try it for 60-90 days to see if it benefits them. After a long [and unnecessary] treatment with clindamycin and zythromax, given routinely for a root canal procedure, I ended up with antibiotic-associated diarrhea. If I would have not make my own research and find this treatment option so positively reviewed by other people like me, waiting for doctors' diagnostic and treatment would have taken its toll on me. I was having at least 10 watery stools a day with traces of blood. All symptoms and history were clearly indicating an AAD infection, but my GP and the GI specialist did not want to give me any treatment whatsoever, unless the C. diff came out positive in my stools. It did not. So they proposed me to wait for 8 weeks and have a colonoscopy, besides the time I have waiting in between the visits and tests results. After the first day of Florastor (saccharomyces boulardii) my stools reduced to 1-2 per day and in a week the foul smell went away, the gas, blood and mucous disappeared and I could drink coffee again like a normal person. This treatment recovered me completely without the need of any additional antibiotic treatment. Of course, I don’t suggest you to not visit the doctor, but it’s worth trying this treatment and it might solve or ease your problem too.Read More Read Less

My husband and I both suffer from Hep C. Also,I have an intestional track from hell that has plagued me most of my life culminating in a bowell sub-section removal in 2009 due to burst divirticulitis. Sometimes, our stomachs just feel 'ishy' for no reason making it difficult to eat. A Phoenix area naturopath recommended S. Boulardi + MOS to my hubby and it cleared the nausea in no time as well as the almost constant gut-cramps I experience in the lower bowell. We plan on continuing on this product for as long as we can afford it. It has been our experience that the natural, plant derived, medicines and herbs seem to be most effective for our health issues.Read More Read Less

I was prescribed FloraMyces to prevent traveler's diarrhea which it did for 1 month while traveling in Colombia. What I began to realize is that it also helped me with what I would explain as IBD. It worked so well that I gave my college son a few samples and within days his bowel problems improved significantly. I have not experienced any negative side effects but continue to look for any information that may either confirm or reject the use of this product.

My 18 month old daughter came down with C-Diff after a course of antibiotics for an ear/strep infection. She was give numerous treatments to treat the C-diff and finally a specialist said to start her on a probiotic containg Boulardii yeast. Along with a course of Vancomyicin. This was our last resort. She had such bad diarrhea that she was losing weight and was hospitalized for dehydration numerous times. She was sick for a total of 2 months once we started the Vancomycin and the Boulardii yeast Florastor kids was the brand we used. The diarrhea got much better with in a few days and with in 3 weeks she was much better. I highly recommend this treatment for C-Diff and Diarrhea. I use this now anytime she starts coming down with a fever in case she need antibiotics again to prevent diarrhea and further to prevent recurring C-diff. I now have my entire family use it while taking any antibiotic treatment. Read More Read Less
