Have used Anise plus other herbs in tea all my life and it has been used in Germany for centuries for respiratory problems. Still drink the tea when I habe problems with my asthma, like coughing.

I took 3 small cups of tea (about 1 teaspoon of the seeds boiled) to help with my digestion problems, it seemed to work quite well, except I got my period the next day. I had been more than happy to have missed said period last month, and after some research I see that this is a sought after effect, still, I was shocked and won't be using it again.
