I am 61 years old and have used Angostura bitters all my life. A splash in half a glass of water once per day is all you need for gut issues. A splash in your juice or peanut punch or even hot chocolate occasionally adds taste. In moderation worked for me.

I twice took a drink containing extract of Angostura Bark and on both occasions a got very breathless and needed to use an inhaler and take a antihistamine tablet. Would advise anyone suffering from asthma to check with a doctor first before taking.
