I experience debilitating menstrual symptoms and not only is cramp bark far more effective than NSAIDs, it's effects are immediate.

During pregnancy, I have irritable uterus (consistent uncomfortable contractions every few minutes that don't go away for the entire third trimester). Midwife gave me a sample of cramp bark tea. Did nothing to help with contractions, but gave me gas, which, combined with contractions, made me even more uncomfortable.

I used to use Chaste Tree but I transitioned to Cramp Bark for my dysmenorrhea, which is TERRIBLE due to large fibroids. It takes some time to start working, though it works to ease the pain. I take 40 drops of the tincture with water at the onset of pain. Depending on the severity of the cramps, I might take it twice per day for the first day, though on the second day, I might reduce the dose to 26 drops and take it once since my cramps are usually subsiding by then.

I recently had some ribs broken and the muscles around that area that cramped up real bad. I was in a lot of pain. Cramp back took all that pain away. I love this stuff for any kind of cramps. It works fast and you can feel the muscles relax.
