Quickly noticed feeling good ~ content, happier, more energetic and watched as the stubborn 10 pounds melted away without my changing my diet in any way. I didn't start exercising, but was more active as I felt better and had energy. My only problem was I had to quit because I could not afford to lose anymore weight. I like to use them occassionally for a pick-me up and take off any extra pound...

I keep a cup of Yerba mate by my bed for morning consumption. It really helps my mood gives me energy and focus. The ability to get up and begin my day. I love this loose tea. And I make sure it’s prepared and waiting for me every morning! I’ve been drinking it since 2020, which was the year I quit drinking coffee because of Covid. No jitters simply great mood. No morning funk after I have my cup of tea in the morning. I only drink another cup during the day if I need a boost of energy to complete any projects after 4 PM does not affect my sleep at night .Read More Read Less

I tried it after observing my colleagues from Argentina sipping on their cups during the day. I function much better! Coffee would help similarly, but I cannot drink more than 1-2 coffees a day without feeling anxious and uneasy. I have a half-cup design that lasts one day... a remarkable effect of feeling alert and interested in life from just a couple of sips. I did not find mate tasting that good, especially if made too strong. But with some adjustments, it is agreeable. I also tried "white wings" sagan dalya herb from Siberia, that one tastes lovely, but too potent for me. Read More Read Less

I bought it in a box from a company called Unicity which comes in packets and mixed with water. The very first day I had diarrhea so bad I had to stop taking it and hasn't stopped for going on 3 weeks! I never had diarrhea before taking it.

I was looking for a coffee replacement because coffee was making me feel jittery and if I didn’t have it I had a headache. A friend introduced me to mate so I decided to buy a gourd and Bombilla (mate straw) I love the virtual aspect of it in the theobromine and other mood enhancing chemicals do not give me jitters at all when I consume it. I add a little honey and the tea and I’ve enjoyed it very much.

I was searching for information about Yerba Mate and I read that drinking too much Yerba Mate can cause CANCER. That is sooooo ridiculous from the simple fact that I lived in Argentina for 13 years and I have never seen ANYBODY get CANCER from Yerba Mate. I have friends and family members that drink Yerba Mate EVERYDAY, in the morning, in the afternoon, at night, etc. I will say this, after moving back to NY, I went to Argentina for 1 month on vacation, drinking mate of course, and I couldn't believe the amount of weight I lost! I literally lost like 5-8 pounds! I was amazed and I do think it's from drinking mate. So if you are interested in losing weight, I suggest you try Yerba Mate Argentinian style! Hope this helps out. P.S. I don't take Yerba Mate as medication nor am I patient or caregiver. Just giving my point of view about Yerba Mate.Read More Read Less

This might give me about 23 types of cancer in the long run, but it tastes like drinks from the gods. I find joy sucking the life out of the Yerba. 10/10

Devoloped irregular heart beats, palpitations, very scary. Used to be "normal", I am now sensitive to caffeine, alcohol and most stimulants. Not 100% sure this product "caused" my issues but upon stopping, I was able to get the heart issues under control. Tried to use again and symptoms returned. I can't recommend this product.

Well this is not about my experience but rather to give feedback to WebMD on their description for cholesterol issues. You say LDL is bad cholesterol and you say HDL is bad cholesterol. It is certainly not both. I canâ??t believe accuracy is not checked prior to approving a post.

I lost a full stone in 3 weeks with Yerba Mate. Simply drinking it when I was feeling peckish or when I knew I'll be having a stressful day. Don't drink large commercial brands, they don't taste too good. Stick with loose leaf (not tea bags). Whilst drinking Yerba Mate, I felt a lot more energy and was way more focused on the task at hand. Plus, I loved the taste of Native Leaf Original Yerba Mate.

I love mate tea. Great energy boost. I always tell people it puts a pep in your step. Be prepared, it has as much caffeine or more than a cup of coffee. Zoom zoom!

I have CFS and drank a brewed cup of this stuff: what a terrible reaction I had to it! "high" feeling of euphoria, shaking, racing heart, sweating, and insomnia were noted. Almost a "paranoid" feeling too, if I could put a feeling on it. I was give a very strong cup of brew, however, and now I know to just stay away from it! I do not drink coffee, but I drink tea (black, greeen) daily in a normal amount. I am a non-smoker. Just wanted people to know what a BAD reaction I had to this particular herbal brew. Needless to say, my body can NOT tolerate this product, I am oversensitive to it!!Read More Read Less
