Bought my supplement at a local health food store and took exactly by the directions. After 1 week of taking it, I was sitting at work when, with no warning, my sight when completely gray. I could not see at all -- I'm not talking blurry or fuzzy -- I mean totally gray. I was in the office by myself (thank God I was not driving, etc.). Anyway, I was able to fumble around and call someone to co...

It says that ephedrine has no benefit for asthma. Is that supposed to be a joke? I have taken it since I was a child for asthma in the form of primatene mist or tablets. It is the only effective thing you can take for an asthma attack, nothing else. The FDA attacks everything that works so that they can require a prescription. Don't believe this garbage, greed is whats driving the FDA.

I used the ephedra herb in a combination weight loss supplement that contained several other health benefitting herbs in addition to the metabolism boosting ephedra. The combination allowed me to have a productive life and healthy body. I did not abuse the supplement at all. The dosage was 2 capsules up to 3 times a day, I would open 1 capsule and sprinkle about 1/3 of it into my mouth and that was all it took for an entire day of energy, focus and endless achievement! If I had known the FDA would somehow manage to get such a beneficial herb banned based on a few idiots who abused it, I would have bought every last bottle I could round up! To the folks who claim they've used it recently with bad experiences, it's because the crap they are putting in the supplements to try and mimic true ephedra is far more dangerous than the original substance ever was. The ephedra in supplements now has had the beneficial alkaloids removed, then they add way more dangerous herbs or substances to try to make you feel energized but these new substances don't truely boost metabolism or work or feel anything like the real deal. The real stuff was health benefiting magic--which is really why the FDA banned it! It was robbing them of profits by keeping people healthy. Simple as that. So very sad.
