Was given statins, but side-affects were unbearable, so a farmer friend recommended his own popped amaranth. Numbers went down significantly, doctor could not believe his eyes. Also lost much fat around the waist, down to a loose 44 from very tight 46 (probably a 48) over the last year. Chiropractor noticed my muscle mass has increased while my fat content is down. My wife enjoys increased libido which is a side-affect. I eat it every day and have fun adding it to everyday foods, like bean and cheese and amaranth burrito. Recommend popped, as seed is grainy and will get into small crevices, like bridges.
