I can relax and function as normal, but husband thinks it is becoming an "alcohol" problem. I'm not sure at this stage, but I feel better, lost weight and feel better about myself.

The thing with beer (or any other alcohol) is that it is great as an immediate fix to calm yourself down. Honestly, nothing works as quickly or easily for me than a couple of beers. And, for me, it's ok when I am being truly moderate and having a drink as needed-- basically, treating it as I would a prescribed benzodiazepine. However, the second you go farther than that, the anxiety comes back ...

I spent 24 years seeking anxiety & depression relief from this depressant. Absolutely not a solution.

I am a long term user of BEER, but despite many attempts at achieving mortality, I am still going strong.

Easy to take and very satisfying. And I don't think about my eventual ending when I'm in the good hands of beer.

During it's use. I can remain calm and helps with sleep most of the time, But when overly used can create more problems. I need to find something that will calm me during work hours that won't get me fired or thrown in jail. after work however it can be relaxing.

I had been taking one shot of gin on empty stomach one hour before eating, it really help, no more pain, also mastic gum in morning. I don't know what is helping but morning mastic gum and in afternoon after work with empty stomach a shot of dry gin (beefeater) h pylori bacteria doesn't like gin, also going more normal going to bathroom. Get a bit drunk, but i'm at home:)

I found that Beer(adult drink of your choice) can be very helpful. Having said that, drinking with a buddy or two, or with my girl friend helps 10 times as much! Where as drinking allow doesn't really work for me.

And, for me, it's ok when I am being truly moderate and having a drink as needed-- basically, treating it as I would a prescribed benzodiazepine. However, the second you go farther than that, the anxiety comes back about a million-fold. If god-forbid I get a hangover, I will have insanely huge panic for a couple of days, with residual excess anxiety for about a week. It is truly awful. If you decide to go this route, BE CAREFUL!!Read More Read Less

Beer??? this makes my anxiety, insomnia, panic, and depression WAY WORSE, to the point where i have had to be admitted to the emergency room once i stop drinking it for more than a few hours. it only seems to help anxiety temporarily, and then is counterproductive to a point my doctor told me could be fatal. i had a grand mal seizure from it. anyone with severe anxiety should probably never use this method. plus i have heard there is a possibility that hops worsens depression. if i drink and then stop, i cannot sleep for up to 3 days. at all. even with heavy sleep meds. wish i had never done this and will never do it again. if i had regular nervousness i might, but my anxiety is so severe that alcohol is actually literally life threatening.Read More Read Less

I've had an anxiety Disorder for years. I accidentaly found a beer greatly reduces my anxiety. So does wine. A beer mind you, not a case of.

The trouble with beer is that it only an amediate need pacifier. Ultimatly it could lead to abuse issues because we tend to over use it in our search for relief. I do not recomend this for over all treatment!!!
