I'm an 86-year-old Hungarian man. Came to Canada in 1956. I remember my grandmother had a quince tree and like everyone else I wanted to eat the fruit when it turned yellow. I had to be around 10 years old. What surprise! I couldn't bite into it. You have to cook it, my grandma chuckled. She would put several of them on top of our wardrobe and we ate them in the winter with cabbage and beef paprik...

She would put several of them on top of our wardrobe and we ate them in the winter with cabbage and beef paprikas. They will not spoil in the open. What do they do for you? I don't know.
