I had been suffering from fatigue, insomnia and anxiety for years only to have been told by my primary physician that I would need to take prozac to improve my condition. I knew I was not depressed, but was told that if I took the prozac then my symptoms would not bother me. My goal was to resolve my issue, not to mask the problem. It took a few years before I found a naturopath who recommended...

Adrenal Extract has proven effective in supporting my energy levels and managing stress, and I've found NUTRAHARMONY's product to be a trustworthy choice for adrenal health

Raw adrenal no affect with energy for me. Within 48 hours helped life-long asthma and hayfever. Took 1 every 3 days for about 6 months and those issues have never returned. As a child I had allergy shots etc from children's hospital. My daughter is going to try for RA.

I actual use Adrenal Natural Glandular from AllergyReearchGroup. Made from cows from New Zealand. Organic. Have lupus and doctor is weaning me off prednisone. Was doing quite well until the reduction. Had bad joint pain, no energy. Was considering raising my dose of prednisone. Tried this product. First few days, pain in the kidney region. However, by day five, had energy back and felt as good as when I was on the higher dose of prednisone. The pain stopped. Will take for a few more weeks, then stop. Don't want to become dependent on it. If you buy adrenal glandulars, spend the extra and use a product that comes from organic cows.Read More Read Less

I started with Adrenotrate for adrenal failure after completing and working with a nutritionist to help my hashimoto hypothyroidism. I have been battling this for 3 yrs and nothing helped my tiredness, weight gain and water retention. It helped I think, but I also quit using most sugars and gluten. Not attempting to stop using the adrenotrate I am experiencing extreme heat flashes....I don't like this at all. My fear is that I am back to square one.

I knew I was not depressed, but was told that if I took the prozac then my symptoms would not bother me. My goal was to resolve my issue, not to mask the problem. It took a few years before I found a naturopath who recommended I try Endodren for adrenal fatigue. I cannot adequately express the impact this has had on my life. This has truly improved my quality of life. I sleep, am not anxious and I have energy to do the things I need to do and want to do.Read More Read Less

I've taken this consistently for several years and have had no identifiable side-effects. Started taking by Dr. recommendation after having cortisol levels tested due to stress/anxiety, fatigue, and depression. I've also been taking thyroid and depression meds for many years. Generally, I feel more able to handle stress and less anxious, but there could be a lot of other contributing factors (various supplements, better diet, etc). I stopped taking adrenal cortex for about 1 week a couple months ago when I temporarily ran out. I noticed more irritability. I'll try reducing it again in the future to see if I notice the same effects.Read More Read Less

Nutri-West Core Level Adrenal Support - I believe my does was too high. These should begin with tiny doses working up to what the body can handle. My Doc ended up selling me more supplements to treat new symptoms that, with a little research, I found were common side effects of adrenal support in too high of dose. Coincidence? I doubt it. He started me on three a day!!! I'm now taking 1/2 a pill twice a day.

I am doing amazingly well - my memory and strength have increased greatly and I feel better than ever but I'm quitting cause of concerns about becoming dependent and that it may stop working and I'll be worse off than before. My doctor told me to eat 60% raw foods and if I want a vegetable form of protein to eat mung sprouts, quinoa and adzuki beans. I also was prescribed 500mg C 2x day, 100 mg Selenium 2x day, "Complete Greens" and Limcomin, Isotonix opc3 and Isotonix Digestive Enzymes with Probiotics. I've had numerous health problems including Lyme and Chronic Fatigue.Read More Read Less

I have been prescribed cytomel for my low thyroid but it was making me fatigued within one hour of taking the pills. The adrenal tissue seems to correct this as well as helping mitigate some fibromilgia pain. It also seems to help to improve my mental ability too.

I take 7 different meds for Bipolar. Had a bad period of time where my mood went south. My doctor increased two of my meds slightly. At the same time my chiropractor put me on two different Adrenal Extracts. With in a week I lost my small and large motor skills and my memory. I was falling down, bumping into walls and had general all over weakness. My doctor reduced my medications that he had previously increased but I continued to go downhill. He was puzzled and asked what else I was taking. When he saw Adrenal Extracts on the list he flipped his lid. He said it could react with my medications and told me to get off it and I would start feeling better by week's end. Amazingly enough, I quite the supplement on Tuesday by Friday I was starting to improve and am now back to normal. Take home lesson: Always check your supplements with you doctor for possible interactions.Read More Read Less

I started this Adrenal supplement to help with my fatigue. I felt as if it were helping until about a week afterwards are started to experience low adominal pains? After a gyno visit/ultra sound and another trip to my primary doctor. I soon found that this supplement is effecting my lymph nodes in my pelvic region with a very strong burning sinsation. It also gave me a headaches. I am still still looking into it as I am writing this. I have blood work in the process now. This is a classic example of me not doing enough research on something somebody else suggested that was great. humm.. ?Read More Read Less

I have low thyroid (technically Hashimoto's). Have taken levothyroxine for about three/four years, stopped sleeping at my desk but still felt depressed, moody, drained, and had no desire of exercise/sex. After implementing a gluten free diet for 6 months I was still tired, foggy minded, achy, and over all just having a rough, emotional, frustrating time. I started taking Vital Nutrients Adrenal Support along with a B Vitamin blend. I FEEL AMAZING. Better mood, less anxious and overwhelmed @ work, just feel like I'm getting back to 'normal' after four+ years of feeling worn out. I am thouroughly impressed with this supplement, and had a positive reaction within a week or two; feeling better each day. It is awesome to smile, feel healthy, and regain happiness! The supplements were prescribed by my naturopath. I'm totally impressed with the results thus far.Read More Read Less
