When you live with psoriasis, it's important to look at how your lifestyle may affect your symptoms. Maintaining a healthy weight is key, as being overweight can make psoriasis harder to control. Getting enough good sleep also helps. That’s because sleep allows your skin to heal. Sleep supports your immune system, which helps prevent flare-ups. Stress also has a big impact. It can make your inflammation worse and cause your psoriasis to flare more often. In this talk, Tina Bhutani, MD, shares ways to improve your diet, get better sleep, and reduce your stress so that you can better manage your psoriasis – and feel better overall.
