Hello everybody. Word of WARNING about glucosamine! Although it helps to reduce arthritis pain, it raised my Cholesterol level from usual 189 (which I always had) to 233! Normal count should be below 200! I would suggest for these who wants to continue or start glucosamine to talk to doctor and check the cholesterol level you have. I also only take 1 1000mg pill instead of the recommended dose of 2. I don't usually take any supplements of any kind and just take ibeprophin for pain relief.
