Charles A. Corr, PhD, is a professor emeritus in the department of philosophical studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is a member of the executive committee of the National Donor Family Council, a volunteer with Hospice of Madison County in Illinois, and a member and former chairperson of the International Work Group on Death, Dying, and Bereavement.
Corr's work has been recognized by the Association for Death Education and Counseling and Children's Hospice International. His publications have received five Book of the Year Awards from the American Journal of Nursing.
