i take 100 mg every night to sleep -i also take xanax 3 times a day 1.0mg and lexapro 10 mg with no side affects.

It was prescribed to help me sleep, because Ambien wasn't working, but it made me so amped I couldn't sleep and was breething so fast that I had to breeth through my mouth. I was also extremely agitated

Last week the doctor prescribed Trazadone 25mg for insomnia. After having taken it for one week, I can honestly say that it has been decades since I felt this rested. I say one week, but it worked perfectly from night one. The 25mg is exact. I accidentally took the whole pill (50mg) one night and I was groggy the next morning. Very satisfied with level of sleep on 50 mg. It took about 1week to really kick in and I had to adjust dosage as I went along. Would still be on it but had significant hair loss.

I have had a problem staying asleep and with this drug I stay asleep longer.
