Takes awhile to kick it, but once it does you're out. Which is hard because it takes so long that you want to take awhile before bed but you want to be in bed when it actually starts working- so it require some planning. Also sleep doesn't consistantly last, and you do not feel refreshed in the morning.

I take this for depression and insomnia. It works very well for both conditions (150mg before bed) The only adverse effect I have is constipation. I have taken this medicine before and requested it from my Dr.

When I am physically exhausted and try to sleep, my brain wants to stay awake and keep the thought process going. By taking trazodone 30-60 minutes before bedtime, I am usually able to fall asleep within 30 minutes of laying down to sleep. Using trazodone has been very helpful.

This drug has allowed me to fall asleep confidently and quickly with no side effects. I take half a pill 30 minutes before bedtime and it works like a charm. I wake up refreshed. I was prescribed one pill, but that was a little too much and I felt groggy the next day. I backed down to a half and I was not groggy the next day and still fell asleep fast and stayed asleep.
