I came across these after much research as to what I thought would be best for myself for my menopausal circumstances, which are dire. These Climara patches have made so much difference now with less dryness in the ladies area, as well as feeling more calm and relaxed, but I did not realise how effective they were until I stopped using them for a week, all the previous symptoms came back with a vengeance. Iâ??ll be interested in hearing from anybody who uses these patches continuously rather than just for three weeks and then a break for a week, which is what I have been doing, meaning is it safe to use them all the way through because the break is driving me barmy. I have used for 15 years. Works great! For those that have problems keeping it on try washing that area with a non oil soap like ivory and make sure to dry area before applying. I found this has helped greatly.

I am an athletic person who sweats regularly and takes hottubs and baths regularly. I can only keep this patch on for 3-5 days and it comes right off which is frustrating. Otherwise, it's helped many of my symptoms except my sleep quality is not good and I am a little irritable.

I have been on this for 19 years after a full hysterectomy. I have tried coming off several times last time determined to persevere. I became irritable, unbearable hot sweats day and night, no sex drive. I am back on and will not be coming off again.

I have been using the patch for about 15 years. I am on the 0.25 level and I cut that in half. It has relieved all of my menopausal symptoms and it helps with my knees. I have gone without the patch and have found that I have problems with my knees and joints. I put it back on and in a few days my knee pain goes away. It has improved my quality of life tremendously!

Within hours of using the patch my severe symptoms of menopause subsided. I have been on the patch for 2 years and feel wonderful. The only side effect is bloating especially in the stomach area. But the trade off in the way I fell is well worth it.

I tried switching to this after years of Estraderm use because it was a once a week patch. GUESS WHAT! The blood levels of estrogen last only 4 days before they rapidly plummet to zero. I tested my blood, I am a physician. Several Gyn's confirmed what I thought. Don't use this for a full week and think you are protected. The FDA should pull this off the market if they don't change their claims on the dosing.

This medication has stopped my menopausal symptoms and improved my quality of life drastically.

I thought this was going to end my nightmare of hot flashes & nightsweats, it might have if I could keep it on my skin! I all but duct taped it to my skin. If you are an active person this is not the treatment to use. I'm still looking for the right HRT treatment, I feel like I'm going crazy. Any suggestions?

I am post menopause. This medication has worked wonders for me. I have been taking it a long time and wonder if I should stop. I tried stopping on my own and I had headaches and severe feelings of irritation. The recommendation to discuss this with your family physician is good advice.

I am 35 years old. I have been on the Climara TD patch for over 1 month now, because I had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to endometriosis. I haven’t had any problems with menopausal symptoms, and I am very satisfied with this patch. As far as the patch staying on, I apply medical tape on it to help it stay on. I’d rather improvise to get what I need than to go without the medication. Hope this helps those who are having difficulty keeping the patch on.

After a total hysterectomy 6 years ago, I was prescribed the Climara patch. My doctor reduced the dosage each of the first 4 years. I have tried the generic psatch, but had an allergic reaction. This patch has dfinitely increased the quality of my life - no hot flashes/night sweats, better mental clarity, dry skin and hair relief - a general sense of better well being. after removing the patch, if one is not replaced right away, i will begin to have vaginal bleeding. is this normal?

I had a hysterectomy when I was 24 and my symptoms started slowly. But I I don't know why I went without HRT for so long (20+yrs). I regret it now. It's been a miracle patch for me. My hair is growing back on my head and not my chin. I've lost weight. No more hot flashes or night sweats and I dream again and sleep through the night. I have far more energy that I used too and my sex drive is returning. The side effects are hard at first but a lower dose cleared that up right away, I could never live without Climara. I used the patch for 3 weeks - headache, leg aches, moodiness and then a full blown period, 5 days of heavy bleeding after 4 years with no period

I began using Climara several years ago after having a hysterectomy and have had very good results. I tried to avoid HRT but began having hormonal migraines and my doctor recommended using the patch. I was also having hot flashes and terrible night sweats and Climara has helped with that as well. The only side effect I've experienced is some redness and itching from the patch but this is only occasionally and it will not keep me from using it.

I am on a very low dose. My Dr.keeps me on this for my bones. I have had three back operations also great for hot flases and help me sleep better.
