I have been taking OxyIR for a little over a year now. I take it in conjunction with Methadone, which is a long acting narcotic. The combination of the drugs keep my pain under control fairly well. Started this med after being on something else for 5 years which eventually stopped working. Then switched to OXYIR 6 hours. It ONLY works for 4 hours MAX. Is this med ever prescribed ONE every 4 hours?
