First off, my family on my dad's side has major league depression -- grandma, uncle, aunt and cousin committed suicide, and my father had severe bipolar. I'd had minor bouts of it, but hadn't suffered from it until a traumatic business occurence when I was 50, and I fell into it, deep. I've been taking this for about 13 years. 100 milligrams a day is enough! More than that causes problems like excess euphoria, cystic rash, anxiety, promiscuity, obsessiveness, fluttering heart, angry reactions and yelling at random telemarketers and cashiers, feelings of being zapped in the head by lightning when startled, flushing skin, problems staying asleep, etc. All of this is be ... I wanted this to work so much but it has made things worse! The depression is still the same but now i feel like i am going to pass out all the time! I also have had heart flutters and have been so sick to my stomach...this is worse than the depression! I will not take any more of this drug!

I didn't care if I lived or died, I had no emotions at all. Tried several other medications that failed for me, Wellbutrin has made me feel more normal. I have energy and I actually want to get up and do things now where before I only wanted to be home.
