I am on my 9th day of being on bupropion. hell week. still feel doped up, crying jags, can't sleep, metallic taste in my mouth. today super anxiety. Trying to hang in there..

I was taking this for Aniety and depression for about 4 months and loved it, for the first time in a long time, I just felt Normal and focused. I was eating better, working out, lost weight and was able to juggle home, kids and work, I felt great. Buproprion (Wellbutrin) is an antidepressant that does not cause weight gain, and is also helpful with addictions. I love love love this drug. I take 300mg once a day (I have friends who took lower doses, and it didn't work for them) and the first time I took it, I immediately felt better. This medication did not work for my depression. It actually made me more anxious and I had constant headaches while taking it.

I'm a 20 year old female college student. I'm currently on generic Wellbutrin SR, 150 mg twice a day (8 hrs apart). I have been on this medication for 4 weeks now, following a 2 week horror period on Lexapro.
