I was wondering if anyone that has been on these for a long time has noticed any hair loss??? I am a 44 yr old female and seem to be experiencing a large amount of hair loss. I have been taking oxycodone 20mgs 4xday for many years. My pain dr recently put me on 50mc fentanyl patches for better pain control. I've had cancer plus had a bad outcome from back surgery. I also have had my colon & bladder removed & wear bags. I'm allergic to tape. Since using these patches (1 week) I find the itching from the adhesive for my bags almost intolerable & am on ... I can't believe I'm on the highest dose of anyone I've read about on all these blogs - yikes! I started at 25mcgs/72hrs and was quickly titrated to 200/2days, PLUS Tramadol 300mgs/day - which is also the maz for that med!!! I do use the 100mcg every 48 hours and it does work for me however only for about 28 hours, so doc gives me break through meds and so it all works good, however this patch falls off and also snaps back sometimes taking it off of the plastic, I only get the generic because of the pharmacys in my area they seem to only carry them, then there are the walgreens pharms they pick and chose weather you a ...
