it affected my attitude and my tolerance for tense situations and did not do anything at all for the pain I suffer. I was switched to this in the place of MScontin 30mg because drug stores in my area were back ordering. I also take Hydrocodone 3.7/325mg.

I have a very high drug tolerance(wake up during surgery under anesthetic,etc.)and have had chronic pain for over 20 yrs. Opana is the only thing that has been able to provide me any relief to give me any of my life back. I have Chronic pain and i would NOT suggest for anyone to take this medication unless they have cancer or similar ! I was prescribed this medication for over a year and I could not function of a human being in public nor could i breath proper, I was put on oxgen just to be able to breath proper, I also lost most of my site in my left eye due to this medication (almost legally blind). Horrible. Kaiser hooked us 'members' on Oxycontin and now is playing musical chairs: "here, try this or this or this; just don't exceed 60 mg per day". Well that's great after being on 80 mg Oxys 4 Times a day....
