This drug along with a most excellent Doctor has saved my mother sight for the past three years. She lost most of her sight in her left eye due to another condition (she is 81). Her right eye maintains 20/30, with a slight improvement in both eyes this treatment. I highly recommend this drug for anyone with Wet Macular Degeneration.

The injection into my eye is very painful and I have severe pain for up to 6-7 hours following the procedure even with the use of an anesthetic.

I suddenly lost vision in my left eye. fortunately, I am part of an AMD study so went the next day to see my retinologist who gave me an injection of lucentis. I've h ad three so far and my vision is virtually back to normal. We have postponed the fourth injection to see how it goes. I experienced little discomfort during or after the injection.

I have had two injections: my Dr says that the swelling and bleeding has decreased. I am grateful to him for giving me these injections.
