I've been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and inject myself every other week. This works great for the first week, but then it seems to start wearing off, and I start to go downhill. Other than that, I've had no side effects at all. This was a miracle drug for me - the only thing besides prednisone that helps me feel better and calms the swelling.

Although very pleased with the results, which were quick (within 6 weeks) I am currently fighting a severe upper respiratory infection. I intend to suspend next dose until I am feeling better....I have never been so sick!

College girl. Went through the hardest time of my life when I was diagnosed a year and a half ago. Started Humira after being on some of the worst drugs possible. I felt like there was no more quality to my life. I started Humira in April 2007 and I am happy to say I have my life back. The only draw back is that the injection of the actual medicine, not the needle, is painful. The other lady is right! Use and ice pack!

30 yrs.old female been on humira pen since march 2007 although alittle painful learning to put ice pack on before injection helps ALOT. it really does work after failing all the other Meds. Only sideaffect I have is itching where injection was for a day or two.I feel I have my life back and I am in control. It feels good. With all the other crohns patients I am with you and know how afraid I am of my crohns acting up. I guess my point is trust your doctor and ask questions . I would rather take this drug and know the sideaffects then end up sicker than ever and laying in bed not being able to play with my kidsor even move like I was back in Feb.2007 Thanks for reading and good luckRead More Read Less

I was in full flare when I started humira. It was horrible, but within a week I saw massive improvement. I had been taking Raptiva for months. What a difference and the side effects were mild for me.
