Effective but with great difficulty for senior citizen. I live alone and am very active; however this prep did not work for about an 2 hours, and then it was with huge velocity several times late into the night. I began as directed with the split dosing at 6 pm and was only able to finally lie down at midnight. I was able to sleep for about an hour and a half, then arose to prepare and consume ... 1st litre of moviprep was hard to get down, gagging on the swallowing / toilet duck springs to mind / managed 7 glasses but worked a treat. no amount of substitutes make it any more palatable! colonoscopy procedure a little uncomfortable but had sedation which eased the process. only 15 mins. wonderful staff at hospital, had a cuppa and buscuits after, now at home and had cheese on toast for lunch ... Moviprep worked great for me. I read all of the horror stories on here, but please don't let them scare you like it did me. The taste was bearable with crystal light and plugging my nose, just very sweet. It started working after the second glass and didn't stop until the next day. I was able to sleep, which was great. The prep is the scariest part, but go in with a positive attitude ... Show Full Comment

Have taken Moviprep today. Took the first liter of A+B along with 0.5L of water afterwards at 5pm. It didn't taste too bad (lemon orange taste). It was a lot to drink after being on a liquid diet all day. Going for colonoscopy for IBS etc tomorrow morning. Have to take the next dose at 9pm. It is working too well for me. Feel dizzy and have major headache but I've gone 16 times in 1.5 hrs ... Show Full Comment

I used this for my recent baseline colonoscopy, and it was nowhere near as bad for me as some of these reviews. It's not fun, certainly, but even with my sensitive stomach I didn't have too much of a problem. I did eat very, very lightly the day before the required fasting day, just in case I struggled with it. I drank it very cold by straw with some Crystal Light mixed directly into i ...
