Severe C.O.P.D. I'm on day 2 of this med. Had fluid retention in ankles & legs. So far, my legs are almost back to normal, ankles look better... Maybe a few more days to be back to normal. Fingers crossed.

I was changed to this other duretic Bumetanide after having conjestive heart failure. I take glipizide for diabetes and after just two days of increased Bumetanide to 2mg daily my blood glucose readings are very high today and I am light headed and with blurred vision. Could this amount of Bumetanide cause the changes when taken with glipizide?

I have seen a very dramatic change in my high B.P. and fluid retention in the lungs and heart area. I am experiencing very painful muscle cramps in the backs of the legs, back and ribs when I dont get enough fluids. Be careful not to get dehydrated!

I really think that this particular drug is affecting my hearing, constant ear aches that I never had before, even being treated with antibiotics. There is no deafness in my family. I was fine until I started this drug.
