I am almost 40 years old and have had chronic acne since my 20's. I have tried EVERYTHING, even expensive laser procedures. Nothing worked for more than a few weeks or months. I prefer topical medications but was considering oral until my PCP finally prescrcibed this. Not only did the acne go away, but my redness, and even little bumps on my forehead disappeared, all within the first 2-3 days of a...

I love this gel its light and i barely feel it on my face after i apply it. My acne has reduced and ive used it for probably 1 month now and my acne has reduced to only 2-3 pimples when my period comes and they go away relatively fast. Only thing is it doesnt help with scaring and dark spots but im also using it with benzyl peroxide too (only apply once a week because i get easily irritated skin) and it helps with the scarring.

Well, I had acne popping out every now and then, so I a friend of mine suggested this gel. I've been using it twice daily after washing my face with an acne face wash and it has done wonders. It has reduced my acne problem quite effectively. Another plus point of this gel is that it's quite cheap and easily available.

I have been using this on & off for the past few years sometimes in conjunction with a retinoid. I find that by itself it causes some dryness but it keeps the breakouts to a minimum and clears an existing spots in a couple of days. It doesn't get rid of any scarring and I don't find it to be as effective on blackheads.

I've tried this product but it caused facial angioedema. My face became overloaded with water, itchy and extremely red.

My friend told me that I should use this product and I bought it. I am using this for 1-3 months I guess and It's really effective. I don't have any pimples, If I have it only shows up when I have period and it is only 2-3 pimples. I swear, it is really effective! You should try it.

I had an awful acne experience. My T-zone (forehead, upper lip, and chin) were covered in small pimples, and I turned to pharmaceutical products instead of commercial ones--ex. Neutrogena Grapefruit Face Cleanser. The main reason I had acne, aside from puberty, was sleeping late. This cream didn't seem to work the first week, but during the second, when I slept before 11 pm consistently for two days, my skin instantly cleared up. I continued applying this, and my skin didn't get worse. I experienced no drying or irritation either. Therefore, in conjunction with good sleep or whatever benefits you otherwise (ex. not eating fried foods), this cream will clear the skin immediately. I don't trust any treatment to work 100%; you should be using treatments only in addition to good habits first.Read More Read Less

I've been on this treatment for about six weeks. My acne has only gotten worse and oily. I will discontinue this treatment and seek other medications to combat my now worsened acne.

My doctor prescribed clyndamycin along with tretinoin for adult acne. I've been using it every other day for about a month, and I haven't noticed a marked change. And I'm not sure if what change there has been was due to the antibiotic or the tret. However, this past week I developed a yeast infection out of nowhere. Usually when I get a yeast infection I'm taking antibiotics. It happens every time to the point where if I'm prescribed antibiotics I ask for fluconazole too. But it didn't once cross my mind that it could happen with this acne treatment. Yeast infections are not listed anywhere in any side effects for the face gel, but I haven't had a yeast infection in a few years, and starting the CP is the only thing that I've changed recently. So if you are sensitive to antibiotics in this way like me, you might talk to your doctor about this possibility. I plan to stop using it because acne is far less uncomfortable than a yeast infection.Read More Read Less

The acne medicine worked at first, but after a few months I started to get dry itchy red rashes on my face and my chest where I had applied the gel. When my skin didn't have any rashes, there were still dry spots, along with an increase of oily skin. Although it helped a lot with my acne, it was not worth the pain and discomfort.

honestly it helped a lot .. but there are some limitations .. when we use it for a long time say 4-5 months .. it doesn't show much results .. its a good start but as the time passes it minimizes its effect !

I've suffered from mild acne since I was a tween.I just turned 33. I usually break out in my T-zone area and have been fighting bouts of heavy acne around my chin and forehead for the last year or so. I was prescribed clindamycin 1% a few months ago and I can say that nothing, absolutely nothing else I have ever used has worked as well. I have sensitive skin and this topical solution hasn't really irritated my skin as badly as other prescriptions or over-the-counter acne medications. If you're going to use this product, find a good moisturizer to combat any irritation issues. I use an organic coconut oil based lotion by Beauty Counter. My skin hasn't been this clear in years and looked so great.Read More Read Less

well I went to my doctor when I was 13 so she can look at my acne and she subscribe with the fougera clindamycin phosphate gel 1% at first when I was trying it on I saw that their was more pimples growing and I thought it was because of this product so I stopped using this product I only used it like 3 times because I was scared my face would fill with pimples just because of ths product but then more and more were growing and some where leaving so I looked on youtube tutorials of how to get rid of pimples videos related to acne problems and nothing really work so time passed and my older sister she suffered from acne too and still today at age 24 she still does but she showed me this product its called garnier clean shine control cleansing gel it worked great !! but didn't eliminate all pimples so it passed another few months passes by im 14 now and turning 15 in October anyways I forgot all about this gel and I found it again and my the time I was 14i started to eat more healthier and drinking lots of water. My pimples were pretty much cleared out but their were like mini pimples on my forehead and cheek bones like mini pimples are mini bumps under the skin that doesn't have a head so 15 and having mini bumps on my t-zone wasn't the plan because whenever I used powder foundation you could easily tell the bumps so I started to use this product again and honestly this is making the " mini bumps " smaller and eliminating some of it so pretty much eating healthier and using this products on under skin pimples actually works .Read More Read Less

It helped decrease my acne, but it didn't totally eliminate it. Also, after using it for 2-3 months, my stomach started getting upset a lot (hurting), which it never did before, and I started to wonder if it had to do with this gel, because it's an antibiotic, which are often hard on the stomach. I have stopped using it for now (because of my stomach pain) and I'm going to see what happens.

I have been using this product for a little over two months and already see results. After visiting the doctor for moderate acne I was prescribed this topical treatment and would recommend it to anyone else struggling with constant breakouts.

I usually don't get acne but I do have white bumps on my forehead that are impossible to pop. No acne wash has been able to get rid of them and long story short I went to my doctor and he prescribed me this lotion. It works great. Don't use a product for a short amount of time and decide it doesn't work people! You're supposed to wait at least a month. Works perfect for me, very happy.
