Vyvanse has really changed my life. I struggled with ADHD for years before finally breaking down and giving medicine a try. Here's a brief breakdown of the pros and cons.
Pros:
- Increased focus and motivation
- Relatively long-lasting; my 50mg dose usually lasts about 8 hours

I hated this drug!!! it made my 16 year old daughter So mean and violent To the point that we had call the police on her two or three times.
This is the worst drug we have ever tried!! once she stopped it she went back to being sweet and easy to live with. The door breaking angry monster that was living with us was gone and our daughter was back.

Started on 20mg for a month then increased to 40mg/daily, became very agitated and angry in evening. Which was not delightful for my family! And not like me - I have a happy, go easy type of personality, but became very very angry, slamming doors and verbally abusive.
