Tussicaps are almost like a miracle drug for those with an upper respiratory issue. Takes about 20 minutes to kick in, about an hour to be fully effective, and lasts 10-12 hours. Almost completely eliminates cough - even seemingly impossible severe coughing - while drying up the congestion. This one WORKS.
At $5.50 apiece, it is pricey. But it works.
Why waste money on so many others that do not work.

I was familiar with tussenex suspension, it is the best overall cough medicine ever conceived, the only problem is it's widespread abuse, so it's hard to get it prescribed. Remember to take with a big glass of water, and to eat something (even a few soda crackers) afterward, like all hydrocodones, it CAN make one feel a little nauseous on a total empty stomach.
