Been taking Combigan for about 6 weeks; working great at reducing eye pressure, but noticed increased muscle pain and stiffness. Hurts to get out of bed and in and out of car and even to get up after sitting for an hour or more. I didn't relate it to Combigan and thought I may be getting arthritis but it was from neck to hamstrings. Has anyone else experienced the same symptoms? I am an overall he...

I was on this mdicine for 5 years. It kept my vision proper. But I had severe side effects and had a nightmare stopping it. Felt like I would die anytime, slow heart, blood was not getting pumped in to body. I was not even able to walk half a mile. This drug would just knock me out. I had symptoms of flue, shortness in breath. Had really tough life with it. Its better to blind slowly with eye pres...

Even though this medication decreased the pressure in the eye, I went off of it b/c it felt like there was a piece of glass in my eye and it hurt everytime I blinked my eye! Discontinued using it over a week age and my eye is still scratchy and irritated. Opting for SLT

I have had ocular hypertension for 20 years. I have been on Xalatan for most of that time. It ceased to be effective, so my doctor had me switch to Combigan. It lowered my pressure, but I my eyes were very red and itchy. I also experienced blurry vision and lightheadedness, especially in the morning. I am switching to a different drug.

After putting the drops in my eyes I experienced blurred vision, light sensitivity, tiredness, sleepiness, mood change, and worst of all after going to my doctor after the reactions my eyesight has decreased! They do not disclose this on the warning label or anywhere for that matter I went from 20/20 to 60/40 after only one use. Do not use this drug.

Having been using Combigan for the past 8 months have noticed real redness in my eyes. There are days when my eyes are totally bloodshot red but have no pressure or uncomfortable feelings in them. Strange that my eyes are reacting to the medicine.

This was very effective at 1 drop each eye, 2x a day and lowered my eye pressure from mid-high 20s to 17 or 18. The tiredness and sleepiness reported by many I found was that it reduced my blood pressure for 1-3 hours afterwards. Recently I have become allergic to it an am now on Cosopt. Immediately I noticed I was less fatigued at all times - I hadn't considered previously that after the 1-3 hours of tiredness after the drop, that I had a chronic fatigue but I certainly notice it is not there now. The sore throat and some mild ankle/foot numbness reported by others set in 1 and 2 years ago, respectively. Let's see if it goes away now I am off it.Read More Read Less

I had symptoms of flue, shortness in breath. Had really tough life with it. Its better to blind slowly with eye pressure rather die suddenly. My doctors asked me to stop immidiatly. Still I had nightmares for whole 2 months. Now after 2 months, I feel slowly normal. I can walk 2 km. my heart reports are normal. Just when I stopped the medicine, my heart beats went to 110. and I had anxity and lots of bad issues. Do not use this for long time, unless you have no other options.Read More Read Less

Have been using this medication twice a day for about 3 weeks for Glaucoma - eye pressure 20. The first drop or two usually lands on my face rather than in my eye, when I finally get it in my eye it burns and my eyes redden. My eyes feel tired and very dry and irritated. At night if I wake I can barely get them open. Haven't noticed any tiredness or other symptoms other people are reporting, but I do get hoarse and get larangitis(sp). My throat and mouth are very dry, constantly sipping water to no avail. Will go back to the doctor the 30th of October. Read More Read Less

Combigan completely knocks me out within 40 minutes. I have switched to taking it at night, because Isaac unable to function. I try to take it at 9pm. Then at midnight. Then if I wake up, once more no later than 4am. I take the lumigan in the late morning. This is better than taking connivance in the day. However I wake up hungover. But it's better than falling asleep in my office.

I have been taking Xalatan and Alphagan for over 15 yrs. I recently changed doctors and because the pressure was at 30, Azopt and Combigan were started. It's been two months and I've felt terrible. On the positive side the pressure came down to 20. In the past, medication would bring it down to 24. I'm experiencing severe fatigue through the day. There is muscle weakness that I've never had before. I get very thirsty. My eye is sore and feels like something is it and the vision more blurred. At my last visit I was able to discontinue the Azopt thinking that was the one causing the problems. I don't feel any better and have a month before I go back for a pressure check. I'm at the place now that I would rather risk losing my sight than to put up with these side effects. I am becoming much more of a recluse because of lack or energy and motivation since being on these medications.Read More Read Less

Detached Retina resulting in 3 surgeries and increased pressure in eye. Multiple surgeries resulted in development of cataract within 7 months of detached retina. Cataract surgery and lens replacement. I found combigan to be a great help. My pressure has been as high as 44 and has been averaging 14 at this time. I can not identify any side affects that could be specific to combigan because I also have hypo-thyroid. Possible side affects I have been experiencing: depression, anxiety, hair loss.

Taking combigan 2 X day for 2 months. Prescription has been working eye pressure went down fro, 47 to 23. Feel tired for 2-3 hrs. Have to lay down and sometimes can not focus and nausea. Thoughts are not the way they should be. Can not continue taking this medication, really where is the quality of life if you are tired all of the time and can not focus. Going in for surgery.
