I take 10mg per day for nearly six weeks now. Just recently began experiencing tremble in hands every morning/low blood sugar, weakness during exercise.

I have been taking bystolic now for about 2 months and my doc told me that it has limited side effects. However I have gained at least five pounds. and I am very short of breath, and when I sit for a period of time my calves feel very heavy. Also I do not have a sex drive at all. can anyone help me. My blood pressure was great after 3 weeks. However, my sleep decreased from 7 hours per night to 15 hours per week; chronic fatigue and tiredness, and moderate weight gain. I have had all the loss in quality of life I can take. I quit and changed doctors.

I started Bystolic after visiting my doctor after a car accident. I was initally put on 5mg. On my follow up apt a month later, my bp was still too high, so my dose was increased to 10mg. I mentioned to my dr that since beginning this drug i have had a real problem with insomnia. I was told that it was not the drug, that instead it was stress and anxiety.
