Every time I take this medication I get the nausea, sweating, and general weird feeling that is in fact WORSE than the migraine headache that I took the medication for in the first place! The cost is also SUPER prohibitive. I have more migraine headaches per month than I can treat because this medication is just too expensive. I often wind up just suffering through and not having very many productive days.

has anyone experienced a severe change in hair texture or loss, breakage or any other problem with your hair?

I have Ulcertive Colitis so I am not supposed to take it often to prevent stomach bleeded but This is the only medicine that has worked for me. I have tried others even imitrex and maxalt with no relief. This medicine works very quickly even with the most stubborn migraines. Only once did it not fully relieve me of all my migraine pain but it made it managable to continue my daily activities. I do wish we could take more than 9 pills a month for when I get chronic daily migraines. :/ I am so thankful for this medicine!!!Read More Read Less

This medication worked, but the cost is crazy. Way too expensive!!!

I have suffered from migraines for about 8 years and this is the first medication that always relieves the awful pain and general sick feeling. I only wish I could afford to have more pill/year as I have way more migraines than the pills my doctor can give me inexpensively. The only side effect I experience is an annoying jaw pain, but it is well worth it.

I Love IT....even if the side effect is a little stomach ache or nausea...it's worth it...My migraines are so bad that nothing else helped me before, but after taking Treximet, after 15 minutes, I'm in heaven. Doesn't make me sleepy or anything like that. It's just great!!!

When I start feeling my migraine headache I take my pill Treximet and 15 minutes later my pain is gone.

I've had migraines for about 6 years now. I've tried all the drugs available... Treximet is the ONLY one that works for me. Does make me sleepy (and have a dry mouth) but being migraine free is worth those 2 small side effects. WONDERFUL MEDICATION!!

My first memories are of severe, stomach turning headaches. It was not until I was in my late teens that I was diagnosed with migraine. I have tried what seems like everything form Cafergot,Inderal, Migranal, Buspar (Major Side effects) Topomax. What strated to really work for me was Imitrex. I took this for years. About 2 years ago I noticed I needed more for pain management and talkied to my Dr. He prescribed Treximet. 1 pill starts working in about an hour and lsats all day and night. I have had Migraines for over 30 years they are getting worse as the years go by. Treximet works better than anything I have taken but I get very dizzy, so sick to my stomach I can not get out of bed for 2to 3 hours after taking it. I also gain 5lbs every time I take it, I lose the weight 2 to 3 days later. I have to be in alot of pain to take treximet because of the side effects but it works

Worked within 15 minutes!! Amazing! Only side effect was drowsiness.

Horrible MGs for last two years sometimes lasting 3 days. Was perscribed Treximet a few days ago and took one today about two hours into a very bad episode. Laid down and could feel the painf leaving within 1 hour. I was able to get up and function at 80 % or so with only a little bit of nausea. I will continue to take this drug if I can these results. I have been seeking treatment for these headaches for 3 years now- MRI's , Cscans, et. without a DR. suggesting something to take. A new MD this week really took the time to speak with me and listen, then suggested I try. I am greatful to him for that. IT GENERALLY TAKES 1 1/2-2 HOURS BEFORE IT WORKS, BUT THEN IT SUCH A RELIEF!

Great migraine med; only one pill is needed, and my migraine doesn't return unlike when I use OTC Motrin products. I do feel sleepy shortly after taking Trex, so I can't drive or do things with my kids. But overall, a very positive effective med.

When I let my migraines get to a certain point it literally is a point of no return or if I wake up with one. My doctor gave me a couple of samples of Treximet and I have had 5 in the last 2 months and they were gone within 30 min of taking Treximet. Normally, I would have been stuck with the migraine for about 24 hours. My side effects are a burning 'hot' sensation in my upper body including head and a slight upset stomach all worth it considering a migraine is way worse for me. I have found the only experienced disadvantage with taking Treximet are the side effects before the migraine relief. But without a doubt, hands down, I would rather be inconvenienced by a few minutes of discomfort, than endure the usual hours to days of migraine pain without taking Treximet.

Treximet has been a life saver that gave me fast relief from severe and frequent migraines. Mild drowsiness that passed quickly was the only side effect I experienced and minor compared to the relief I got. I always have it on hand. Another problem is that my insurance dropped coverage for it and it is EXPENSIVE! I try to get free samples from my doctor.
