This eye drop does its job lubricanting my eyes very well

I found this drop to be very ineffective for treatment of my dry eyes. Eyes became very irritated and burned after use. Drops gave no relief for problem. Dr. had recommended.

I have extreme dry eyes and often irritated from allergens. When using these drops (preservative-free vials), my eyes immediately burned, turned blood-red, and became swollen. I eventually had to do an eye wash to get as much of the product out of my eye as possible. It still took several days for my eyes to return to normal. Terrible reaction....

I had a reaction to the drops,burning eyes, blurred vision,pink or red eyes,swollen lids,pain in eyes. I wish I had never used this product because it has been a couple of days since I used it (for one day only) and my eyes still have not recovered.

Very effective eye drop as compared to other drop for dry eyes. I have Dry eyes from last 4 years, my eyes are getting too dry, red and Itchy. This drop gives me relief.

Recommended by doctor for dry eyes. Caused skin reaction. Swollen lids, red eye lids and peeling skin where drops ran out of eyes. Was nit sure if drops or something else so stopped until eyes recovered then started again. After a few hours I could see same thing starting to happen again. So they do not suit me.

These drops were prescribed by an eye specialist for dry eyes unfortunately they were not fit for the purpose they were intended, after using it twice l had a burning and stinging sensation in my eyes and my eyes became extremely red and gooey. l had to discontinue use as l felt that l would permanently damage my eyesight if l continued with these drops (directions for the use of drops were followed exactly) l would never use this product or recommend it to anyone, which is what l conveyed to the Eye Specialist that recommended them!!Read More Read Less

Right after I put the drops in my eyes I had major burning. The next day my eyes were swollen, the swelling around my eye got so bad I had to leave work. Terrible reaction!

I had a reaction to the drops. Developed dry patch on my eyelid and side of my eye (temple area).

I experienced extreme stabbing pain in my eyes after using this medication for one only one day. It's going in the trash.

I've been using this drops for several years. This is the only drops that helps relieve my dry eyes. Safe and easy to use..

I had extreme eye swelling and pain using the systane ultra. VERY SCARY!!! May be related to the preservative. I've been very sensitive to other preservatives (e.g. therminesol (sp))

Really has helped my dry eyes. But after using for 1 month I've experienced a constant very dry, slight swollen throat--not really a painful sore throat. Not sure if its related to the eye drops, I'll as my doctor today.

OMG! I've been taking allergy meds for abtr yr because my eyes wattered to the point I could barely see! I'd been advised to use them and had little relief. Then my eye dr gave me trial of this and bam - all better!! Unfortunately I am on Medi-Cal due to a brain injury and not only won't they pay (pricy stuff at $160) but Pataday has chosen to exclude anyone on Medi-Cal, Medicade, or Medicare from their savings rebate assistance. I was prescribed this eye drop by my Opthlamologist for dry contact lens. She recomended for dry,itchy eye. I used it for one week and I can wear my contact lenses longer during the day.

Eyeball pain/cramping Instant headache Blurred vision This happens every single time I use the Systane Ultra eye drops. I have been using them 2x per day for about 3 days. i normally use Refresh Optive. Returning them to Walgreens for a refund tomorrow. Miserable experience. They DO moisten the eyes but the side effects are agnonzing. I have Sjogrens Syndrome & Lupus. Severe dry eye issues at times.
