Started using aczone Dec 2012 at 27yrs old i started breaking out all around my forehead. I went to see a dermatologists, he prescribed me aczone along with epiduo. I was to use aczone 2xs a day and epiduo every night. I took about 3mo for my acne to be completely gone. Epiduo dried my face specially around my t zone and forhead. I don't really like when people write reviews after being on medication for such a short time, but I feel compelled to share my experience. Oily skin in high school that was acne-prone, but used epiduo which kept my skin completely clear. Basic teenager acne. I am 36 years old and have oily skin. Despite this, I never had much of an issue with acne other than a few monthly pimples in the T-zone, and light bumps (not whiteheads, just bumps) on my forehead and blackheads on my nose. I've been using Aczone for less than a month and my cystic acne has significantly reduced after years of suffering with acne. I've used countless OTC products, as well as numerous prescription products and none of them has been as effective as Aczone. I noticed a difference within days of using Aczone. It is the only topical medication that has ever helped with my moderate cystic acne.
