i have3herniated discs 2in the middle and 1in my lower back all the disc in my back are severely degenerated i have a torn acl in my right knee tore ncl in my left knee tore rotator cup in left shoulder have arthritis have trigger fingers that lock muscle cramps ive taken lortab10 percocet10 somas350mg now oxycodone15mg with the soma it starts working 45min but only last for 2to3hrs then the pain is back ive been a welder for 20yrs dr said no surgery can fix my back i have to work have a son to raise wife died the pain is kickin my ass! I had a neck fusion and a back fusion..two surgerys..i have degenerative bone disease and am still in lots of pain..in January of 2012 will be a year since my back surgery..dr would like me to start to get off this medication..i take 20mg 4 times a day..it is the only way i can get out of bed in the morning and resume my day..without it i would be in bed..this drug is addicting so take it as prescribed..dont abuse it..it is my miracle drug..will go to pain management if i have to to remain on it..have tried so many other drugs and they do NOT work..i also have diabetes and have pain in my legs and feet which the oxycodone works well for that also..good luck allRead More Read Less

i have been treated with oxycodone 30 mg. since 2003 , and my new dr, has taken me off of it what can i expect . it has worked well for me i ma 68 and have rhumotoid and osteo arthurtis i have c.o.p.d. never smoke never drank achol , i need something to show her, she is young and i know she has no pain .i am afraid of what will happen to me , i took my last pill today , please tell me where to get some side effect infromation to show her. thank you so much

i was injured playing in highschool tore ligaments in my loxer back and a bulging disk 2 years ago after a fall at work. If you are prescribed this drug and have an addictive personallity dont take. They are very addictive i lost my job , and insurance and had to pay a lot to keep them. If you do not need them dont take them, it can cost you a lot, i almost lost my wife. I pray for those who are taking them, they are as bad as illegal drugs

after surgery i used for 30 days

it is helping with my back but i woke up with such a headache but the headache is nothing compared to the pain in my back so it is definetly worth it

My doctor switched me from hydrocodone (Vicodin) to oxycodone. I am experiencing more break-through pain and significant weight gain. The side effects are not worth it.
