I've been on Azurette for about 5 months now and I started to notice effects the second month in. I've gained about 5 pounds, my acne has improved, my mood swings improved as well. I think all these women who are saying they had horrible side effects may not realize something - you have to take this at the EXACT same time every day. Thanks to this medicine, I have clear skin, I've moved up a cup size, and I have super light periods! Thanks to this medicine, I have clear skin, I've moved up a cup size, and I have super light periods! I love this bcp... also, remember that everyone's body is different, so not all drugs will react the same; however, this one has work wonders for me! I can't really describe it's effectiveness for pregnancy prevention, since I'm not sexually active, but I imagine it will work as well as any other :)

This drug is effective and very easy to use, but it is HORRIBLE!! I have never been so moody or sick in my life!! I have been taking this pill for about 4-5 months. I figured the whole moody thing would subside after the fist month, once my body got used to it, boy was I wrong! I figured the whole moody thing would subside after the fist month, once my body got used to it, boy was I wrong! I don't like not wanting to have sex with my husband. This is the worst pill I have ever experienced and I am switching! I would not recommend this to anyone!

After going on a bc hiatus for 2 years, I had developed severe acne on my face and back especially. When I started taking azurette, I did get really bad mood swings, was more angry than usual, had breast tenderness, but after about a month or so, all the pesky side effects of the pill wore off. After going on a bc hiatus for 2 years, I had developed severe acne on my face and back especially. When I started taking azurette, I did get really bad mood swings, was more angry than usual, had breast tenderness, but after about a month or so, all the pesky side effects of the pill wore off. Also, my acne was completely fading and now I never have a pimple on face or back, hallelujah! I'll take being a little more emotional and some unwanted bloat here and there for clear skin, no babies and a regular period. Not the best, but not bad either.
