I was very hesitant due to some of the negative comments but I have come to find that it's nothing I can't handle. The first week of every month is a little more "emotional" but I don't cry or have fits or anything drastic. I just notice I am a little more sensitive. I have had zero break through bleeding. My periods are normal. My cramps are cramps...sometimes they hurt sometimes they don't....

I was on this and Cesia (another generic of the same name brand) for about 4 years. I recently decided I no longer wanted to take an birth control pill. 3-4 months after I stopped take this pill, my hair started falling out at an alarming rate. It's terrifying and it's not slowing down. This has been going on for the past two months. I'm going back on a pill of a different brand, to attempt to...

I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for years until it became too expensive for me to stay on. I switched to Caziant and have had irregular periods and bloating since. One month my period came 4 days early and the next it came 2 days late and started out really light and suddenly became heavy with bad cramps.

I was on Cyclessa for a year, then Velivet for 4 years and my pharmacy just gave me Caziant instead recently. I've had breakthrough bleeding and crazy mood swings, neither of which were a problem in the years I was on the other two pills.

I was on Velivet for years and had no problems. The pharmacy told me this new pill had the same hormones and 4 months later, I've experienced weight gain, emotional roller coasters, abnormal periods, and spotting in between periods. I"m very upset about the outcome of this new pill

While caziant has been an effective form of birth control thus far I have had several negative side effects since my pharmacy changed from providing Velivet to Caziant. I have been on caziant for three months. Since then, I have had spotting, cramping, bloating, and weight gain. Birth control is not new to me ( I have been taking it for five years) but I have found the side effects from caziant surprising considering it is supposed to be another form of a generic birth control I have been on for two yearsRead More Read Less
