I have a history of dental decay but since using Clinpro 5000 on a daily basis (every evening before bed) I've had no new cavities. I also use this for tooth sensitivity and it works great (I can drink water with ice now!). The instructions are simple: brush, then expectorate (i.e. don't rinse your mouth out, which is what most of us should be doing anyway with whatever toothpaste we've been using...

I only used it once last night and am in total agreement that the direction is not good. I think I must have swallowed quite a bit of it even though I spit out a lot of saliva. I woke up with the worst heartburn in the middle of the night and felt like I was going to throw up. Then I passed out in the hallway for a minute or so after feeling dizzy in the bathroom. I almost woke up my husband to ta...

I find the cost is acceptable: it's better than getting a cavity and then having to revisit that years later, and my teeth feel and look better. Great product. Read More Read Less

As read by some posters here, this product seems ok after 2 weeks but yes, it does cause tooth sensitivity to cold. Just in one tooth of mine but one is enough. Will discuss this with my dentist.

I pay $30.00 a tube from my dentist, which I see is highway robbery.

I woke up with the worst heartburn in the middle of the night and felt like I was going to throw up. Then I passed out in the hallway for a minute or so after feeling dizzy in the bathroom. I almost woke up my husband to take me to the emergency room but I felt a little better after about 5 minutes of sitting. I am too scared to try it again. The dental office charged me $20 for a 4 oz tube. The only good thing that came out of this is that my gum seems less sore today.Read More Read Less

Horrible nightmares almost every time I use it before bed. Anyone else experience the same problem? Otherwise it worked great.

I never had sensitivity on my teeth. but the dental assistant told me I did and that she was going to let me take home this product. within a week my teeth were so sensitive that I had to brush my teeth with my finger on the side that was supposed to be "sensitive"! I hope this goes away cause it is a really awful feeling!!!

I assume the product will work as promised, but I'm amazed at the bad instructions. "Adults should expectorate"...Okay. I can spit. But for how long do I need to eject saliva so I don't swallow too much of the toothpaste? How long must I wait before eating or drinking? Would it kill them to supply that information in their brochure?

I was having a lot of sensitivty and I was told at the dentist office to try this toothpaste once a day at bedtime and it may help with my sensivity. I was really surprised that it really has helped with my problem. I still use sensodyne for my other times of brushing.

I have used Clinpro 5000 for the past 3 weeks. My teeth are killing me! They hurt and are sensitive to everything. I will just stick to Sensodyne, this product is obviously not for me. $12 down the drain!

I had some tooth sensitivity to cold drinks and certain types of food and was unable to use whiteing gel as it gave ma burning feeling on both teeth and gums. Just after 3 days of using it, I was able to use whitening gel with no pain whatsoever.

My teeth are sometimes sensitive to cold. Clinpro has helped with that. It has also helped prevent tooth decay. I am extremely happy with this product. I especially like the Vanilla mint flavor
