I have had type 2 diabetes for 15 years. Have had no side effects in the 5 months I've been using Victoza. Unfortunately, has not been effective at all; glucose readings remain the same. Will be discussting w/my doctor tomorrow.

I HATE needles, so this is alittle hard for me to do every morning ... but my glucose levels after eating takes less than 2 hrs to be in the normal range of 100 - 120. Very happy with that!

I have been taking this since New Years Eve. My sugar was above 275 and the first dose dropped my down to 87. The morning sugar is between 87 and 100 now. The only side effect I have had is the constipation. I don't drink any sodas, not eating any sugars and stopped the pastas and starches, this was my choice to try and make myself healthier.
