I pretty much have the same story as everyone else. I was on YAZ for a long time then about a year ago the generic GIAVANI came out and when I went to refill my prescription last month, Medco sent me Loryna. I have been on it a week now and I really feel like a crazy person...I cry for no reason, Im moody, emotional,depressed...I just feel like a hot mess! I called my GYNO and left a message with ... I switched from mirenia to the pill and I have had inconsistent periods. When I first switched, I had a period that lasted almost ten days. After I finished my first pack, I had a normal period, since then I haven't had any periods. I've taken a zillion pregnancy test--all negative but no period in sight?! However I'm beyond bloated to the point where I could wear my maternity clot ... Show Full Comment

This is the worst birth control I have ever experienced. For years I have been on Yaz was very satisfied-- for once, a birth control with zero side effects! I loved it. I then switched to generic Gianvi, also with no side effects. Recently I had to change pharmacies (my insurance ended their contract with Walgreens) and Rite Aid only carries Loryna, so that's what I've been on for a fe ... Show Full Comment

I have never bothered to write a review for anything in my life. But this product is so awful I felt I had to. I was previously on Yaz, and then switched to Giavani without any problems. My insurance company switched me to Loryna without telling me. It causes me to gain about eight pounds about a week before my period. Then, after my period I lose the weight. I am continually going through each ... Show Full Comment

I started with Yaz and was on it for about two years. I thought it was okay but my insurance switched me to Loryna about a year ago and I noticed a big difference-my mood never crashed, my acne stayed at bay, I had a sex drive, and no cramps/bloating. I recently had to switch back to Yaz and absolutely hate it. Remember everyone is different!
