I am in my early 20's and this was my first time taking birth control. DO NOT TAKE THIS BC. after months of being depressed, feeling bipolar, picking stupid fights with my boyfriend, feeling super anxious, i have finally realized it was loryna doing this to me. I have been on the pill for 6 months and during these 6 months i've sunk into this hole of depression, have not been motivated to ... Show Full Comment

Horrible, horrible drug. I've been anxious to the point of having an anxiety attack and snapping at people for almost no reason. I am usually extremely relaxed and happy, but I can't even see myself being around another human being right now. I also have horrible acne all over my face after about two years of nice clear skin. I did not have acne this bad when I was a young teen. I'm pr ... Show Full Comment

Immediately I was insatiably hungry, snapping at everyone, and just did not feel like myself. I gained about 5 lbs in one week before I called my pharmacy to switch after reading these posts. I know for a fact the weight would have just continued t ... Show Full Comment

I too was on Gianvi and my pharmacy switched me. I have gained 12 lbs in the past 2 months, had bad cramps, and recently I've been having uncontrollable constant back pain. Not sure if its just related weight gain or what.

I've been using Yaz for years now, with no problems, no side effects, and extremely regular and light periods. When I switched insurance and Yaz was going to cost me $80, I opted for generic. WORST MISTAKE EVER. On the first month of the pills I had spotting the ENTIRE month. And not only that but I've been having terrible mood swings and anxiety. My boyfriend and I never used to fight and ... Show Full Comment
