I have only taken for 4 wks.I was taking abilify and pristiq. My depression got worse and I was very very tired.Dr has switched me to prozac.Hope this works.

actually very good except developed a itchy rash and had to stop---not listed in side effects???? confirmed was Viibryd by stopping med til rash went away then restarting it and rash returned

I have been taking Viibryd for several months. I wanted to have more energy, which I do. I am taking 30mg now because I was feeling weird things at 40mg. I would have a startle-relex, see a shadow in the corner and think it was a person and feel panicky. Not good!I may even go back to 20mg and see if that is ok. It's now almost three weeks on 40mg. Depression is a little better. Anxiety, not so much. Still having some side effects: mostly heartburn and still some sleep problems, but I seem to be adjusting to that better (as long as I take the melatonin). I had tried many other antidepressants and nothing helped. Viibryd has made such a positive difference in my life. It has helped me tremendously and it does not make me feel exhausted (as all the others had). I'm so grateful.
