I suffer from migraines so severe that I go every 3 months for nerve blocks and botox injections. The 1st time I used this medicine for a migraine I thought I was going to die. It felt like I had shot draino up my nose and swallowed. It burned so bad and my throat was raw and all I could do was drink to get rid of the sensation. BUT it worked to get rid of the headache...so when I got desperate ...

I have had Toradol/ketarolac for about a year in the intermusculal injection form. This form is much more effective but is no longer available at any pharmacy. This nasal spray is not as effective as the injectable form and is far too uncomfortable. The burning and sinus discharge after use is ridiculous. It should be taken of the market and the injectable form be made available to the public agai...

This product doesnt stop pain, for me, but it does give me a very painful nose/throat for about 30-40 minutes after each dose. Tried it for a 3rd dose and my nose started bleeding and made me sneeze, which made my pain even worse. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. From what I've read, this type of drug is only truly effective if administered IV. I'll be going back to naproxen.

If I could use this drug every day, I wouldnâ??t need to take Norco. It absolutely takes my pain away. Itâ??s not hard to use but man you can NOT inhale. Inhaling burns so bad itâ??s debilitating. It has saved me several trips to the ER or Urgent Care because of inflammation I have not been able to control.

My migraines are bad so it’s helped me on less severe ones, but not bad ones. It hurts my nose and burns my throat.

Ok so this is a follow up to my passed post. I did do one thing I forgot to mention as well. It threw me into the worst asthma attack for days now. Iâ??m now at a point where the ER and possible hospitalization will be my next stop. Pulse 105 and my o2 saturation is bouncing between 89 and 93. How do I know? I went for an epidural today in for locations of my spice and when they hooked me up upon arriving my vitals alarmed them. Thatâ??s not good. Asked if I have been hospitalized for asthma before. I said not in years. If you have asthma DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION AT ALL! Hopefully this ost helps someone. This by the way is after only one day of use. Iâ??m turning the rest of the doses over to my pain doctor Monday. Read More Read Less

Might as well have put water in my nose. Was prescribed it by my Pain doctor and it did not show up the next day like she said it would. Took nearly two weeks to show. Didnt work at all. It did absolutely nothing. I was left in severe pain with no relief at all. Total waste of time! Prob a placebo! I do not recommend it!

Terrible experience! Used as directed, thatâ??s when the horror began. My sinuses lit up like they were on fire, my sinus cavity felt like Iâ??d poured lemon juice into them after theyâ??d been ravaged with paper cuts. My eyes suddenly started tearing, burning and trying to leave their sockets in unison. Then the mist hit my brain. With one jolt I had to grab my skull to stop it from exploding, I was already holding my ears thank god because they started to flap and burn and a sizzle sound came from the base of my skull. Then just like that after a full minute of silent hell, it stopped. I found no benefit to the product as my pain was just as vivid in my lumbar area after the minute of hell as it was before. I tried the terrifying mist for twenty-four hours, each dose just as bad as the last. I returned the remaining bottles to my provider and delivered my review. Cheers Read More Read Less

Like most if the comments indicate I also have experienced burning in nose and throat on initial use of this medication. Also after reading and watching the video on how to properly administer this med this was no longer a problem. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT INHALE!!! Follow the instructions to the letter and this med may provide a mesure of relief without the burning. I use for severe pain resulting from 3 level lumbar fusion that failed. This med helps with the constant burning down my legs. A side note: if you have any kind of sinus infection this med will burn your nostrils regardless in my experience. Read More Read Less

Sprix is very easy to use and it works well to stop migraines, but it is unpleasant to take. I had a slight burning in my nose and throat, but it went away after a minute. One reviewer suggested aiming the nozzle differently to avoid the burning, which I will try the next time. I have fewer side effects with Sprix than with Imitrex.

I am taking Sprix for headaches. It works very quickly. It burns for about 10 min when you first use it. Have heard that you should not inhale in. That when using it put in to the side of your nostres. Very pleased with my results.

Given as replacement for MS Contin for severe chronic pain in knees, lower back, shoulders and neck. Completely uneffective, regardless of straight up the nose or into side of nose. Burning and bad taste unavoidable, imo.

This is a great drug, especially if you may vomit an oral medication. Don't inhale - it goes in your nose, not your sinuses. Read the insert that comes with it, and you'll like it. It works quickly too.

Torodol through the IV is miraculous for pain due to stones - no more dilaudid needed. But the Sprix Nasl burns the nose/sinuses and caused me to have nose bleeds on the second application. It worked, but the side effects were harsh for me. Do NOT "snort" it back like a nasal spray! That being said, Torodol is a wonder drug for stone sufferers - not matter how it is administered.

I sprayed with my head tipped forward, aimed toward the outside of my nose. Some burning. Within 10 minutes I had NO PAIN. I had just had kidney surgery and dilauded was not even helping me. The Sprix took away the pain for 3 hours. When I forgot and tipped my head back and sniffed, it hurt so bad, I thought I would die. It still worked though. I reread the directions and it has not hurt like that again.

The 1ast 2 times I used it I thought I was going to die! i just have internal hemroid surgery and this spray hurt 10xs worse. Well I called my dr the next day and watch the video and what a differnce!!! I just took a dose and felt no pain and feel so much better. As long as you don't inhale it and watch the video it is going to work and take away the pain and NOT put you in pain I promise!!!

If you like to be tortured for up to 20 min. take this nasal spray. First after taking I would sneeze up to 4 times then it really burns in the nose & sinis area, makes your head throb, gives you the feeling of the worst sinis infection you've ever had, makes your face & nose feel hot, bring you to you knees, scares the you know what out of you. Get the picture? On top of all the misery I paid $132 for it. It would have been more, but I had a $25 coupon. This is a med for pain and anti-inflamation and it causes more?? This is pathetic to put people through this. I'm writing this to warn people to be aware of what the drug companies are doing to make a big profit. Dr's beware of what you are doing to your patients. It is a nasal spray and is very misleading in how to use...not like regular nasal sprays that we have been using forever. What a rip off. I suffered through 2 bottles & couldn't take any more. So, I carried the remaining 3 bottles back, told my complaints,& got a full refund. I also let my Dr. know. I suggest anyone else that is suffering with this to do the same. Does it work after the horror stops? It makes you feel weird and not worth what you go through for what little relief you get. I rate this the worst drug experience I've ever had and hopefully to help others to avoid this horrible drug. Remember the oath of "First do no harm" well, this does harm.Read More Read Less

I am a long time suffering with migraines. This product has been the most effective for the treatment of my migraines. After 5 consecutive days of pain, this was the product that gave me almost instant relief.

I have experienced great relief from neuropathic leg pain when my other drugs have stopped working. However, I'm disappointed that I can only use it for 5 days. I don't know what else is out there for pain.

My neurologist gave me this for migraine pain not relieved by triptans. I used it as directed (watched the video) I had immediate intense pain in my nose, my ears, my scalp, face and down the back of my neck. It was the worst pain I can ever remember having. even worse than steroid shots in my achilles tendon. I ended up going to the ER because it scared me to death. I will never use it again.
