nothing has worked. i've tried every other allergy medication. i am sooo happy to be able to use claritan. I am disappointed that it is over the counter and you can only get a handful of pills for $20. I wish we could go back to the days when having a script, getting 30 pills and only having a copay.

My husband & i took the 24 hr claritin pills at 11am. That night we did not sleep at all, not a bit.:(

I didn't sleep one wink after taking this medicine. Wide awake all night. Jittery today, and my rather low bp was rather high. No more for me.

I feel absolutely horrible right now! I took one of these this morning at 10am and an hour later I felt a headache, stomach ache, and uneasy feeling all through my body. To top it all off, I'm still congested. I wish this would wear off so I could just get on with dealing with my chest cold and sinus infection already. YUCK! Not recommended.

I had unbearable allergy symptoms- runny nose, sneezing, itchy face, eyes, throat, cough, and looked like I hadn't slept in days no matter how early I hit the hay. This is my go-to when I know it's allergies- works in about 20-30 minutes and good to go. I know Pseudoephedrine always comes with a kick, so take it early and skip the coffee. And if there is left over energy at the end of the day, I actually make it to the gym :)

I have seasonal allergies. Itchy eyes, runny nose are main symptoms. I used to take Zyrtec but this season it was not working for me so I switched to Claritin D. I take it just before going to bed and have no problem sleeping. I don't have be reminded when to take it cause eyes start weeping and itching almost exactly 24 hours later.

It helps with allergies, but it made my sinuses run down my throat into my stomach, causing me to have a sour stomach. It took me almost 2 weeks to realize my stomach aches were caused by the drainage. Stopped the meds and my belly feels much better.

52 year old male: The drug did what it was suppose to, but a week later I had difficulty urinating. Ended up at the local Urgent Care - Acute non bacterial prostate infection. Don't know if the drug caused it, but it is listed as a side effect. Not a fun situation at all. I won't take any antihistamines again.

This is the best over the counter medication for allergies. However the side effects are horrible, mental/mood, difficulty urinating and difficulty sleeping.

It took away all the allergies but i feel so drunk and dingy I took the recommended dose i think it still to much for me i practically never take medication that may be why i have all the side affects

This has worked great for sinutitus symptoms, but I can't sleep. I stay awake until 4:00 in the morning. Not gonna take it unless I have symptoms again. My doctor wanted me to take it daily in combination with flonase.

I was told by my doctor to try this for a chronic cough. It has helped a little but, I have not been able to sleep for three days now. I will never take this drug again!

Worked great for my allergies, but due to my extreme sensitivity to pretty much every allergen, I was on this, and similar medications for almost 7 years every day. Do not ignore the potential for mood changes, mental state of mind changes, outbursts or anxiety- these are very real and ruined my marriage. I've been off this stuff for 2 weeks and feel different. Yes, my allergies are terrible, but I'm treating with natural methods. This drug made my body change including facial swelling around the eyes. Since I've been "free" I have not had any outbursts, or mood changes. Too bad it's probably too late to save my marriage.Read More Read Less

As with others, it cleared up my allergy symptoms within a few days of starting it, But I had a headache, jitters, and nausea. These side effects were worse when I stopped the meds for 1-2 days.

Definitely has helped with my allergies and symptoms, but I have been making the mistake of taking it before bed and have not been able to stay asleep. I also feel hot at night. It seems like there has been many accounts of this happening, so don't take it at night!

I took this drug this yesterday and this morning for congestion and I am having insomnia, I feel very weak and tired, I had trouble focusing at work, I feel dizzy, and my heart is pounding.

I used the medicine last night and slept like a baby. I only have this lingering cough. Ughh I guess I'll have to call the doctor. :(

Having an allergic reaction, face is swelling and face is forehead are red. No previous allergies.

Take the 12 hour treatment instead of 24 hour and don't take it before bedtime... you won't sleep a wink! My heart and mind were both racing all night long!
