I had a terrible reaction to this drug almost immediately. I couldn't stand up without passing out within 2-3 minutes, consistently. I remember thinking to myself "if this is what everyday felt like, I'd rather be dead." I had to go to the ER, as it dumped my blood pressure way below my normal, which is already low.

I was on this medicine for 1 week and ended up very ill. I had diarrhea and vomiting so bad that I lost 10 pounds in three days. I would not recommend this medicine at all. My tongue was numb for about 20 minutes and had a stomach ache for the first three days. I ended up in the hospital and missed 2 days of work!

Really improved my mood and sleep. Much more energy, feel like my old self again. Con is weight gain, been on it for 3 months and have gained 40 lbs. Thought i could handle some weight gain as long as i was back to normal, but with this much gain, i am finding myself more depressed, feeling useless, fat and ugly. See doc in a week, have to get off this med.

Initially the medication seemed to work really well but now after about a month it has become less/ineffective. I have also experienced unusual weight gain which is not a positive. This medication is no longer a good option for me.

It works well if you work with it. Do not mix alcohol with it. You will be sorry if you do.

After two weeks of taking this medication, I ended up in hospital with pneumonia. I also developed paranoia which has never been an issue for me.

Taking it was the difference between night & day for me. Initially, it was a transition, but after a while, I noticed my relating to people was 100% better, and I was sleeping soundly through the night, whereas before I was waking up at 2 AM and no matter what I did I couldn't get back to sleep. Best drug that ever happened to me.

I had almost immediate heightened energy and high level of mood (mania at times) that has now lasted a month. Do not have even one drink with this medication. After almost 24hours I am feeling better but had a horrible side effect.

I was only on Saphris for 2 days when I woke up the 3rd morning and fainted. The 1st of 4 times that day. Needless to say I stopped using the pill and am waiting to talk to my doctor. I realize this is a rare side effect and do not want to deter anyone from trying this if it could potentially help them.

I have been on Saphris for about a year and the only side effect is that I get tired so I take it before I go to bed. It works great and I hope it continues to work because most meds have terrible side effects.

Only on it for three days and it was extremely difficult to even take without puking. The taste is horrible, it numbed my entire mouth for hours after I took it and gave me uncontrollable arm and leg spasms for hours after as well. I cannot say I recommend this to anyone.

I have been on saphris for about 2 months now, and it has done wonders for me. I can finally control my moods and I seem to get along with people better. However, I also take Geodon, which my doctor says the two medicines together is what is working wonders. Geodon alone was not helping me. With the addition of saphris, I can finally live a normal life.

Since, starting taking this medication I feel more in control of my emotions/moods. It also got rid of my insomnia. It also helped my daily mood very much. I no longer stay in bed asleep all day. I actually wake up early and stay awake the whole day and have energy to do things around house. I find this drug very effective!

i started taking this medication as an additive to risprdal; it worked at first but the effects have lingered off

does not seem to be working. still hear voices in my head and still stuttering.

This medication worked great when I first started it but now I've noticed it's losing it's effectiveness but I've been on it about a yr now. Don't see my dr. for like 3 wks yet.
